3. Oh my God!
The ignorance and stupidity of the rightwingnutjob talking points is actually pretty funny. They have no idea that they sound like fools. I'd love to hear Al Franken quote this tomorrow...

4. Yeah and Chicken George will send more troops if the generals
ever ask him to. Of course the ones that ask keep getting fired or retired.

6. They are always saying that
Edited on Sun Aug-28-05 06:57 AM by shaniqua6392
the soldiers who died volunteered to go in the military so we should not feel sorry for them. Is this fool waiting for a draft or something? We know the repugs are cowards who try to align themselves with our brave soldiers so they can vicariously fight this war. They would sing a different tune if they have to reinstate the draft. Those were not all Dems out there protesting in the 60's during Vietnam. Send the recruiters to his house and he will hide under the bed and pretend that he is not home. Definitely an ignorant ass.

7. As we say in the old country, "Talk is cheap!"
Never heard of anyone having a problem finding a recruiting station. They all say they are ready to serve if called, but strangely enough, they never do. Wonder why that is?

9. When I first went into the Army, people hid some of the things that...

could possibly have disqualified them; almost no one went out of their way to come up w/a disqualifying condition. Today, it is anything that pops up will be used as an excuse. For some baboon to say, "I'll go if they ask me", is the height of assinity, they HAVE asked! This guy is just one more chickenhawk inside the coup, refusing to allow himself the distinction of serving, while resting on his ass calling out people who are trying to save soldiers lives from a foul and immoral war. Just hand him a pen and lead him to a recruiter; put up, or shut up!

Exactly!
Anyone who has watched television for half an hour in this country has to have seen one of the "please join up" ads.

10. Dear Mr. Kotter:
Please excuse Juan Epstein from serving in Iraq. He cannot due to an acute lack of motor skills. He is not able to find the recruitment center on his own, or work up the nerve to ask directions.

Signed,
Epstein's Mom
