there is a lot of corp. property in the area.

3. They won't care . . . they'll just up insurance rates on us.
Any suffering by the ins. companies will be very short term.

The government (you and me) will bail out the corporations.

The poor will get screwed royally.

The rich will get richer, and the poor will get poorer. Same as it ever was.

4. Well, that and...
You won't have insurance anymore (not after they either go under, cancel everyone policies, or jack the rates up to the stratosphere)

8. No kidding--BTW are Exxon Mobil and all those in the gulf?
I can see it now...gas goes to about 4.50 per gallon and then they cry about their damages and get bailed out by the federal government on our dime.

And they talk about WELFARE ABUSE?

6. Did anyone see that movie on FX?
Started with a early summer hurricane which hit New Orleans and wiped out all the oil drills in the gulf and we did not even have any oil... What was the name of that movie?
