I heard the mayor of New Orleans this morning say that one of the things people don't realize is how much of the country's oil is produced/refined? in that area. He said the supply for that area may be interrupted for a long time. Guess what that will do to gas prices?

Headline reads "President tours damaged area, orders FEMA relief, etc. etc.".
Surely some hypothesis can be created using the many hurricanes that struck Florida last year. As to gas prices a fairly obvious correlation between price and approval exists.
