I moved from the Sacramento valley (yes, it does have flood plains being developed but I didn't live in one of those) to buy a "cheap" waterfront condo on the Gulf. 2 Hurricanes later, plus the way Jeb! was rigged the laws so insurance companies don't pay out shit, plus global warming causing the Greenland glaciers to fall into the ocean even faster and causing water temps in the Gulf and Atlantic being warmer than most heated swimming pools, it's a recipe for disaster. As soon as I can sell and make my money back (condo = moneypit) I am out of this piece of shit state. No offense to my fellow Floridians. But I've had enough of worrying about whether storms with more power than thermonuclear bombs are coming my way. And my condo Board of Directors are a bunch of motherfucking idiots, with one (maybe 2) exceptions.
