if winds are 90 mph at 1am and the storm isn't expected to hit NO until 11am...we're talking 10 hours of hell before the storm even hits. Do they really think people can safely go outside 5-8 hours after Katrina passes?

French quarter will start getting hammered in about 6 hours. Its 75 miles upriver from Boothville which is currently having 88 mph gusts
