Hey, Bush! God's Gunning for You! |
|
Hurricanes. Terrorist Attacks. Big Nasty Wars.
Yup. The creator of the universe definitely doesn't like you. You will go down in history as a guy who couldn't stop nineteen men armed with BOX CUTTERS from getting on planes (if that's what REALLY happened) and knocking down big buildings in New York, while the drug trade flourished under your watch, and Islamic fundamentalism took over Iraq. Meanwhile, gas prices go up, the economy goes down, and no one can find ANYTHING nice to say about you or your family -- except for that "do not call list" which all the Washington folk want to put YOU on as they panic about their re-election chances.
So, you keep praying. Its not going to work. To borrow from someone else, you have the "Bush Touch" -- everything you do turns to SHIT.
God hates you, and so do we.

2. MIHOP / LIHOP -- Still Bush's fault because it happened on HIS |

watch, and he dismantled the existing anti-terrorism systems in February of 2001 (as reported to Congress on April 19, 2001) and didn't put anything else in place until AFTER September 11, 2001.
The Dem's should have impeached him then.

5. Yeah but does He have to take the rest of us with him? |
|
Those people in New Orleans are innocent--or is the Angel of Death going to fly over the Superdome and seperate those who voted for Bush from the others? Or when gas goes to $5.00 a gallon will we liberals see the miracle of the magically replenishing gas tank while our Republican neighbors watch their SUVs rust in their driveways.
Short of the little emperor riding his bicycle into quicksand and slowly being dragged down to Hell I can't think of any way that God can't get even with Bush without taking a whole hell of alot of people with him.

But never at this level of corruption and arrogance, and so the stolen elections will probably be the final noose in their coffin.
The "faux conservatives" may have taken over, but they're going to get exactly what they paid for and go down in criminal history. Or destroy eachother in the pursuit of violent extremism that real people are intolerant of.

7. The politicization of this situation, while my family is under the gun... |
|
Edited on Mon Aug-29-05 06:25 AM by tx_dem41
...in my hometown, is beyond despicable. Now to suggest that God is somehow playing with the lives of those people is even worse. Must everything on DU be used to score childess political "hack" points?
Its what people like Falwell and Fred Phelps do. Oddly enough, we usually condemn them for it.

12. Sorry for your family being in harm's way. |
|
No one can control the weather (or can they? :tinfoilhat: ) but politically speaking, I AM PISSED OFF THAT Bush a) cut the funding to deal with hurricanes in New Orleans, b) sent the Louisiana National Guard off to Iraq, c) with equipment needed back home, and d) there is no "plan" in place for evacuating 100,000+ people who "can't afford" to evacuate.
Life comes with stuff we can't control (see: weather), but we've all been given judgment to deal with the stuff we can (see: four examples above). Common fricking sense says that HURRICANES HAPPEN, and the idiot who cut the funding or didn't bother to do what was necessary to mitigate the damage to life and property is going to get the withering scorn heaped upon him that he so richly deserves.
Meanwhile, I hope your family is safe....
