Raining inside the superdome!
Edited on Mon Aug-29-05 07:24 AM by SaveAmerica
Guy inside said the roof has been comprimised and people are moving to places that have covering to protect them from rain. Chilling. This is on WDSU.

5. Not just leaking but CNN just reported power outage
in the dome as well. That has got to be a scary feeling sitting in the dark with the wind whipping and the roof leaking and being blown. My candle is lit for them and I will continue to have good thoughts and prayers for them...

7. Domes, like arches, need all segments to remain stable
That's what worries me. A dome is really just a three dimensional arch. Imagine any part of an arch being taken out, and you get the idea of what happens when part of a dome is taken out. All there is to do is pray for the people in the Superdome.

According to live report from WDSU

Reporter inside said it looks like it's about to be more.

And for somebody that asked... there are thousands of people, most of them poor, elderly or disabled in the Superdome. That's why people are concerned about it so much.

Just said it's no longer safe to stand on the field.

16. I was worried
last night when the news was saying people were in the Superdome. I told my hubby I wouldn't want to be anywhere near that place in a storm like that.
