Time To Open The Strategic Reserve
Edited on Mon Aug-29-05 08:38 AM by DemocratSinceBirth
In the aftermath of 9-11 Alan Greenspan cut the federal funds rates by fifty basis points to assure the equities and bond markets that he was committed to providing adequate liquidity...

This assured that market losses could be mitigated....

Bush should show the same foresight. By opening the strategic reserves he would be assuring folks that adequate amounts of oil will reamin on the market and reduce predatory pricing....

By just saying he will open up the reserves he will be calming the markets...

This seems like a straighforward economics 101 point and not a particularly ideological one...

1. a reasonable proposal you offer...
But we're dealing with a Crime Family so hideous that right now the Family's "Cha-Ching" Dept. is looking into all profitable options are
on the table.I agree announce any deficits in oil flow will be off-set with a sizeable release of National reserves..good point !!!

3. It's Just Common Sense.....
Economics is as much psychology as it is dollars and cents... All the pres has to do is say that he will let out as much oil as necessary out of the strategic reserve to avoid an artificial rise in prices....

Even capitalism has rule... If I own a hotel I can't jack up my prices by 100% because rooms are needed because of a disaster.

5. "Common Sense" was a policy often used often successful
prior to the Bush Crime Family Rule...1.Be a good American and pay no attention to the facts,2.Remember authority is always right..I liken this administration to a kind of "Chaos" or " Spectre" organizations of corruption and murder..The Bush Crime Family, a massive Tree of Corruption branches include,Carlyle Group,Halliburton and the Pentagon
these corrupt branches have limbs i.e. fbi/cia/dhs/ and others to monitor and tag all Americans with a Super Mega/Tera byte computer capable of doing trillions of calculations a second..I have just one hugh question, will the Bush Crime Family seek to impose Martial Law
when America is again attacked..
