let's get back to Camp Casey for a minute....
I've been out of the loop all weekend, but from what i'm reading:

There were 3000 freepers shipped in, and apparently they are as Anti-peace as they say they are, Kristinn Taylor is actually a man, and Cindy's ending the vigil on Wednesday because it's imposing too much on Crawfor residents?

Also there were "only" 1500 anti-war activists there?

Lastly - I think the fact that dubya got no rest on his vacation is fabulous. I think Camp Casey (with or without Cindy) should follow him everywhere - maybe set up camp in DC? Would that be doable?

1. Well...
I didn't actually see the warlovers rally myself but based on what I've seen in pictures and heard from people who actually wandered over to the freeper rally, it sounds like there were 500 or so on the Dark Side. At around 1 pm on Saturday, there were about 2,000 people at Camp Casey 2.

Cindy is ending the vigil on Wednesday because Busholini's vacation will be over then. She's then going on a bus tour around the country and will end up in DC for the September 24 rally.

7. Unless they could camp on the WH lawn, I don't think
a protest in DC is that doable. They would just be herded into free speech zones out of sight. The only other thing that might work would be sit ins in Congress and other public buildings disrupting business. But then you would be looking at riot police, pepper spray and even tasers.

I think what Cindy is doing is smarter, she's going to start protesting congressmen in their home offices starting with Tom DeLay.
