he is the master of the costume is he not? what would he wear?
Maybe he could bring back the codpiece and fly in on a jet. then he could connect Katrina to 9/11 and everything would be wrapped up all nice and neat. Misson Accomplished!

17. The only reason is a photo op |
|
All the poeple who may have supported him beat feet long ago. The only people still there are the poor, infirm, and totally delusional survivalist's. I've had to clean up damage from 90mph wind gusts (luckily no flooding)and I don't want to think how I would hold up in the same situation. I can't express my admiration for those who had no choice besides holding tough.
I can only hope that if he grandstands (to gain political capital), he'll be seen as the opportunist that he is and drop his stature to the true believers. The fact that he "stayed the course" to go and try to sell his SS plan and threw a few comments in about the "natural disaster" , he'll show his true color.s Most of those that have two brain cellls to rub together already know he's just a front man for corporate interest and idealogs that are blinded by faith.
Let's expose DimSon for what he is, the best part of what ran down his mommy's leg. I don't want to exploit the hardship of others, but this tool doesn't understand what 95% (probably more)of the country has to do to survive. Put this twit on the street for 6 months without name or face recognition and he'd be a body in the river. He could be that John Doe in your city. How many of those cases have been solved?
I'll offer my KISS to the country, if they don't pucker up, theycan catch me on the backside!

2. I'm pretty sure the numbers that voted for Kerry in NOLA were 78% |
|
I highly doubt he's gonna get any sort of welcome unless he's carrying an ice chest and a steak dinner for a few thousand.

12. This is how that works |

his PR firms will have been manning the phone banks and enthusiastic Bush lovers will be ready for their closeups. Our country still doesn't realize how badly Bush is sinking because the media always shows Bush with his carefully orchestrated crowds of well-wishers. All dissenters are kept away from Bush and away from the cameras. Right out of Fascism 101. Cindy Sheehan was able to break through the carefully constructed wall because of her diligence and the tragedy of her situation. There will be countless more Sheehans to confront Bush. There's a crack in the wall.

14. He didn't come to Houston after our Big Flood.... |
|
It wasn't as dramatic as a hurricane but there was widespread, expensive damage. And the city is supposed to be his HOME!
His people would have to screen any NOLA audience thoroughly. People tend to get hot, sweaty & irritated while waiting for the power to come back on, waiting for safe water & trying to get their lives back together.
