"..we have moved beyond our leaders now." Rachel's caller |
|
I am really enjoying Rachel Maddow today. She is doing great. She just is so good. The caller just said it so well when speaking of the Democratic leaders...."we have moved beyond our leaders now..." and she said they did not even seem to know it.

1. That caller was so right |

I'm loving Rachel, too. The Rush clip is hysterical. "Does anyone know who Rachel Maddow is?"
She's the one on TV, Rush, and you're not.

I enjoy Rachel but haven't heard her new show yet. I still miss the other show though with Liz.

4. Rhandi Rhodes made a good point |

She said how democrats are born leaders and we don't need to follow anybody and more independent. :) I like to think of that as well. We don't need talking points from someone.

And a somewhat sad one. I want them to join us, and stop trying to hold us back, to maintain the status quo. But if they won't join us, we will have to elect people who will, and I think that is going to happen. I think Paul Hackett is going to run again, and I've read other stories (one just today on DU) of Iraqi vets deciding to run as Democrats. But it won't be as status quo Dems, but progressive ones. So, as I run forward with my brother and sister progressive liberals, I'll wave goodbye to the Old Guard.
