Katrina Casuality Counts
Maybe I'm watching the wrong television channel. They seem to be talking about everything except injuries and loss of life.

Does anyone have any idea of the human toll of this hurricane yet? Anyone?

3. I agree, I am only trying to get an order of magnitude
But the more I think about it, perhaps you are right because it is probably even too early for that.

I'm frightened about this aftermath in regard to sanity conditions, etc.

8. Gov. Haley Barbour said he's expecting to find lots of dead people
on the coast. They had a 20' - 25' storm surge. They already have dead inland and dead in NO (floating in the water). :(
