10. It was some other wag's phrase, I must admit. |
|
I'll try to find the original source.
But it must be put into general use.

11. Oh, here ya go. James Wolcott coined "Viagra Posse" re: Fox News |
|
Edited on Mon Aug-29-05 06:40 PM by swag
http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=%22viagra+posse%22In the pages of Vanity Fair: "Geraldo Rivera and the Viagra posse at Fox News refilled their gas bags and began taking turns on Mussolini's balcony to exhort the mob."There's a fellow that can turn a phrase. And welcome to DU, iamahaingttta.

12. Apologies for typing "It's" instead of Its. Editing time expired. |

To quote James Joyce, "Excuse bad writing."

4. I'm sorry, but, why even post that? It is of no use but to promote... |
|
their ideology here. It is no secret what all of the FoxNews characters think. I think they pride themselves on being paid attantion to, even by their opposition. I bet a lot of their ratings these days are just people watching to see how outrageous they are.
People should just learn how to tune these people out. That way they will become irrelevant. The fact they are getting debunked all the time and criticized is a credit to their effectiveness.
That goes for linkng to The Free Republic as well. Let them all drown in their own hate and ignorance.

8. Did they interview Tony Snow for some independent political analysis |
|
that backs up Hume's viewpoint? That way, their viewers won't be left wondering if Hume is lying or not. Having Snow there will legitimize everything.

9. Let him say whatever he wants, Iraq doesn't have a "constitution", |
|
Edited on Mon Aug-29-05 06:14 PM by The_Casual_Observer
the reasons for the war have evaporated, many thousands have been killed and maimed, 100's of billions have been spent and there is a very good chance that the place is already in a civil war. So, if it makes hume and fox happy to talk shit about a peace vigil in Texas, I guess they can, god knows they don't have anything else to offer, we have the right to shut it off. Too bad we don't have the right to shut off the Iraq war.
