My 14 yr old son wants to come to the Coronado vigil with me tonight. |
|
He thinks bu$h is a lying idiot and doesnt want to see his older brothers 23, 19, to be sent to a war zone. What a good kid! I'm taking him with me.

They don't teach civics in school anymore, so you are giving him a lesson in democracy in action!

6. That's great. I'm trying to get my boyfriend's 15 year old daughter... |
|
...to get more involved. She tries to tell us her "generation doesnt care about this stuff." :banghead:
We will try and bring her to the peace march in LA on the 24th.

We took our ten-year-old son to the Cindy vigil and I was blown away when he stepped up and said his piece to a crowd of about fifty.
His take was different than most of us, but he made me proud that he came up with an original statement. "The war in Iraq is not only physically and mentally hurting soldiers, but it also hurts us mentally by knowing the rest of the world thinks we're wrong, and I don't like that."
By all means, support your 14-yr-old any way you can. There is hope for the next generation.
