Maybe the American Public actually wants a fat racist prick telling them |
|
that black males shouldn't play quarterback?
Thoughts? Discussion?
Think about it. Think about the men that watch football as a WHOLE. Who are they really? Not you gentlemen HERE. But BUBBA, at a football game. A fan. A sportsfan. The white players? Think they're all liberal males?
Think about that demographic.
Hmmmmm.....

4. I think you are being a bit too general here.... |
|
I know several "white players" and they aren't racist or idiots. Just because they are large don't mean they are dumb. Most of these guys would bleed for their teammates regardless of race. DOn't get caught up in all that mess about big guys and stupidity and ignorance/intolerance.

5. that's what scares me, rad... |
|
to think that there are actually people out there who believe the spew that vomits forth from the ball of fat that is Rush Limbaugh, and the other spewers of hatred. It makes them feel superior, I imagine, because they have someone to hate, and someone to blame for their problems, other than themselves.

7. YES. THINK About it. MOST americans are in fact RACISTS. Sorry folks |
|
but that's real. in some shape or form, most all of us are prejudiced in some manner against someone for some reason.
HOWEVER, the point of this is that limbaugh and sportsfans are WHO THEY ARE. He has PLENTY of people who completely agree with him.
They're on freerepublic.

9. Democrats could learn a lot from Limbaugh |
|
I know a guy who goes along with Limbaugh and actually believes that Fox News is fair and balanced. At least, that's what he says - the truth is that he just flat out doesn't know up from down. He's on that side of the fence not because he's given any thought to his political beliefs (he hasn't - simple fact, not an insult, I like the guy) but because Limbaugh gives him a club to belong to. The fact is that Limbaugh does something the Democrats have been, to this point, unable to do. He provides a "club" that his listeners/followers can belong to. People who would otherwise have not the faintest idea of what their own political convictions are can have some notion of where they stand just by joining the club. You could argue that Hitler, early on, did much the same thing. The Democrats have utterly failed to grasp this concept and put it to any use. Where's the club that a political naif could join on our side? There isn't one. There's a lot of people for whom simply being accepted is more important than politics. When some Democrat can get the ball rolling in this way, when Joe Sixpack starts to think that there's a club - a large, welcoming group that offers acceptance of him just as he is - to be joined on this side of the fence, then the Republicans will be defeated and it will be decisive.

6. Arnold is playing the "Mexicans are ruining California" angle too |
|
That's in one of the most Democratic states in the U.S. and it appears to be working. It looks like racism is on the rise again in the U.S. with Bush's occupation of the White House.
