2. It's not tonight for me...it's a 20-year history of sensationalizing.
Back at Channel 7 in Miami, he was FoxNews before FoxNews ever existed.

3. Well, he just asked how people could boil water with no electricity....
:silly:

So he's giving the pie a run for its money.

Aww Rick. He's a tool, but he's alright.

8. He is a tool...but..
Some options would be a gas stove, a propane camping stove, a BBQ, a campfire. Those options may seem obvious to a lot of us, but some people, especially when they're dazed and shocked, won't think of it.

But he asked himself!
He was going there's no drinking water...so you have to drink bottled water (d'oh!)...or boil water...but how can you boil water with no electricity...okay, here's so and so who's standing blah blah blah...

:) Ah Rick.

In fact, a damn sock puppet is a genius compared to slick Rick.

Just listening to him trying to cleverly throw in Hurricane Andrew as a comparison to this. Do you remember what you were doing Rick after that storm? I do, ass.

6. But The Corporate Whore Sellout Cares Soooooooooo Much
When I watch him and Aaron Brown, I get the feeling they are just really happy to be making money at the expense of others lives being destroyed.

The perfect fascist robots whos only flaw is the glee that oozes from their pores when their propaganda reaches disaster level/higher ratings.

I would rather watch Faux new -- at least they are up front about being lackeys for the conservatives.

30. Not really
I don't watch CNN because they spin the news with an anti progressive tilt while claiming to be balanced. Everyone knows FAUX is tilted conservative even though they claim to be fair and balanced. I watch FAUX occasionally to keep an eye on our political opponents and I get a laugh out of some of their loony on air folks. I don't watch TV much at all and get most of my news online.

17. I've heard about Rick Sanchez for years from people living in Miami
Edited on Tue Aug-30-05 12:58 AM by Judi Lynn
It started when they brought up his running over a man in Miami. Everyone knew all about it in South Florida, from what I can gather. It was no secret. I just located an article which touches on it:
In 1990, he accidentally (and, yes, drunkenly) ran his brand-new Volvo into a fan after a Dolphins' football game in the parking lot of what was then called Joe Robbie Stadium. The victim, Jeffrey Smuzinick, was paralyzed and later died at the age of 35 of complications related to his injuries. Sanchez was never charged with causing the accident (Smuzinick was also drunk) and ultimately pleaded no contest to DUI.
(snip/...)
http://www.newtimesbpb.com/issues/2003-01-09/news/norman.html

He also advocates the use of torture, etc., etc. What an utter ass.

On edit: Adding Rick photo:

20. Well, I'd take Sanchez over that mule-voiced Rita Cosby on MSNBC.
She's in Aruba, y'all!!! Way to run toward danger, you intrepid reporter, you!

Natalie update coming soon, complete with helicopter tour of the alleged crime site.

:puke:

Seriously, can anyone explain to me why such a mule-voiced woman earned a prime-time cable news network anchor spot?

28. he was just talking to a national guard guy about the levees. Ricky
finally concluded that the corp of engineers would probably try to fix the levee as a way of stopping the flooding. The national guard guy almost breathed a sigh of relief.

LOL.
