1. Be sure to let us know if you see NAVY or other military boats
involved in the rescue. Because I know the military has lots of small boats -- in fact there are fleets of small boats on most Navy Sea bases.

I don't have TV -- so I'm going to have to rely on DU observers to watch for military efforts in the rescue.

IF there is little or no military presence I'm going to start hounding the congress critters to find out WHY the military wasn't called out IN FORCE -- as in ALL HANDS ON DECK.

Hey -- I took my first breath in a US Navy hospital -- it will piss me off if the Navy isn't out there doing everything possible to assist the civilian population.

2. I've seen Coast Guard
No Navy...that doesn't mean that they aren't there...just that I haven't seen them.

I will be so disappointed if the Navy doesn't have ALL HANDS on duty.

4. I'll talk to my brother tomorrow and see if he knows anything
He's stationed in Norfolk, VA for two more days...then he's out and into the reserves.
