Sanchez says thay are expecting a statement from the Army Corps of Engineers by 4:30 eatern.
Tulane lady said the La. State Police had confirmed the breach. My God, Sanchez is thick. The poor woman's patience with him was exhausted by the time she said "I've gotta go."

... about eight feet--twelve feet in places. Lake Pontchartrain and the low points of the city will equalize at some point, but whatever water from the storm which drains into the lake will drain into the city.
It will make the situation worse, no question.
