OMG -- I just saw the Cindy Sheehan ad ON FOX |
|
I had the TV on with the sound off to see the hurricane coverage, and left it on Fox.
Lo and behold, looked over, and there was Cindy Sheehan and her advertisement, being played as an advertisement during their commercial break.
It's possible that it was a local cable ad, but it was in the middle of a bunch of national ads and Fox promos, so I don't know. Plus, I live in a very blue New England state, and I wouldn't think the Gold Star Mothers would be spending money on local cable here.
Hmmmm...Anyone else see that?

4. Me too, saw it on FOX and CNN |
|
and I never watch either of those -- am only doing so now for the NO coverage. So, I imagine there are lots of others also -- nice strategic move on Cindy's part. I mean, if you can only afford to buy one spot, I suppose today would be a high viewership day.

5. Murdoch might be sensing a shift |
|
In the UK, Murdoch (although a conservative himself) is better known for backing who he thinks will win. He might be sensing a big swing against Bush and the Republicans, so in 2006/8 he's got a stick to beat then with when they're going down

7. Haha even the Faux News corps.... |
|
The Fascist Faux News show has actually started airing Cindy Sheehan, when that happens its a sign of things to come.
I bet Fox will also call themselves fair and balanced later and slap eachother on the back. They probably drink heavily, with the kind of GOP sometimes racist propaganda they exploit on T.V.
