Arrrrrrrg...Bush...can he for ONCE speak
Edited on Tue Aug-30-05 11:13 AM by Blue_Roses
without the help of his "notes"...geeze...he's talking about the destruction of the hurricane and is READING from his notes. Why can't he make a complete thought of compassion without the obvious arrogant tone he uses. He is READING his condolences to these people. Can he just SPEAK with an ATTEMPT at sincerity for once? Is it too much to ask to speak to these people with a smidge of sincere compassion...guess you really have to FEEL compassion FIRST before you can really express it--something Bush lacks.

Good grief...:eyes:

1. Because (as are all sociopaths) he is devoid of human compassion ...
... someone needs to write out a 'human' response for him!

5. He didn't need notes to talk about Hussein.
He had all that punishment crap down pat, no problem. Compassion is another thing. He can't do it.

7. This is so fucking hilarious:
According to CNN, he said "We have got a lot of work to do," and "the president decided that he needed to be in Washington to personally oversee the federal effort"

Oh, yes. I can just see him now, there in the Oval Office at 2:30 in the morning, a phone to each ear, barking commands about which trucks should go where.

Also, "Later Tuesday, he was flying back to Texas, but spending only one night at his ranch"

Poor boy. Only one night at the ranch, to recuperate during that utterly exahusting flight from California to DC on Air Force 1. Which, but the way, has bedrooms he could use if he gets jest all wore out from all that hard work.

And you can always count on ol' Scotty Boy to miss the point; he uttered this banality: "The destruction and loss of life is sobering."

So, if the people dying from the hurricane gets you sober, what, you mean the fact that people are dying in Iraq doesn't stop you from having another drink?

Feh.
