Saddam gassed his own people. Bush is letting his own people drown
and be eaten by alligators while he catapults the propaganda and eats cake.

Am I having a nightmare?

2. I feel so helpless.
Honestly, if I could donate money to mobilize the National Guard I would right now, but that's not possible.

4. Not just lets them drown, but lets them drown while he's living it up...

9. He's redeeming Nero and Marie Antoinette
from their positions are most callous people in history. It's almost like he relishes it. :-(

10. Well, he's on a roll, you know. He's already redeemed the rest
of the republican presidents since Eisenhower. He makes Nixon look honest, Ford look dextrous, Reagan look smart and 41 look diplomatic.

6. Well put.
Also, it could have been the Iranians who gassed the Kurds in a war, not Saddam.

16. Hi and thanks
I've been around for a while, I'm a reader more that a talker - but today with the storm has been hard for me to take. It's the people damn it - all other stuff should be set aside and concentrate on their tragedy - I can't come close to explaining my sorrow for their plight.

I'll be around!

22. No it's not
I've noticed that if a normal thinking person without enough posts confronts the tin-foil-hatters, he'll get a spanking - meh. I'll probably not last long, I like a good discussion.

19. I don't see Commander Cuckoobananas down there...
In fact, I saw him eating cake yesterday and strumming a guitar today.

No sign of him laying sandbags or handing out food (because it's NOT an election year).:eyes:
