2. It's a bowl, not a cakepan.
That means the deeper areas are not at the edges. God, what a tragedy.

Interesting high areas are by the river (i.e. French Quarter)... major ridge running through the city.... Superdome basically at the low spot...

14. That is where I lived. In the Bywater 3 blocks from the river on Desire St
My ex said it was the best place to live cuz it was the highest part of town.

10. I wouldn't say nothing was done.... but yes, they could predict where the
bulk of the flooding was going to occur, plus the high surges in Biloxi, etc...
