Has anyone seen any news from the Delta yet? |
|
I haven't been able to find anything; just news about New Orlenas and the mainland.
Is there anything left of the Delta towns downriver from New Orleans?
I'm worried. most of those tiny towns down there wern't but five feet above sea level.

That the highway is strewn with several large boats and a coupla ships. One a leaking tanker.
The mouth took a direct hit, so I would imagine the landscape has been considerably altered.
If I remember where I saw this, I'll get back to you.

4. Since it was dead center for awhile |

I would imagine it WAS covered by 20 feet of water. It would have drained away by now.
One problem is: the canal through which ships traffic to and from NO, may now be silted in. They have had to dredge it for years and years.
