2. No, He really does not care
He is in it for the photo op, I remember Franklin Roosevelt read newspapers all around the country to make sure that typists could afford
to buy bananas (i.e. the working people were able to survive on their
salary.)

3. I'm not sure it has anything to do with luck.
Many people are saying these ongoing hurrucanes are caused by global warming, and we all know that Shrub doesn't believe in doing anything about that!

The war in Iraq sure wasn't due to bad luck.

6. He hasn't brought us bad luck (other than himself), but his
incompetence and callous disregard for our country is putting us into a spiral of descent to third world status.

Luck, hell, He was partially responsible for this disaster as well:
MUST READ: When the levee breaks
http://www.pnionline.com/dnblog/attytood/archives/002331.html

rethug defunding of disaster planning & emerg. mgmt. aggravated Katrina (several links)

And he has a history of outright destroying things. Might've started with those firecracker-stuffed frogs in his youth. But it's something of a habit with him.

9. It's not luck; he has created the
atmosphere we live in. Granted, he didn't have anything to do with Katrina's landing, but his absolute disdain for what's going on is overwhelming.

11. The first bad incident was the P-3 in China
remember that plane the Chinese sent back to the US in separate envelopes?

Then there was the shuttle disaster, and the US nuclear submarine that hit a Japanese trawler full of kids, killing them, the WTC towers collapsed, the Pentagon was attacked by a commercial jet, another jet crashed into the Pennsylvania countryside, the US was held hostage by anthrax terrorists, Iraq was sacked and tens of thousands of people died and continue to die, the national debt is nearly $8 trillion...

god, there's so much.

18. Luck is not a factor ......... Shrub brings delibert devistation.
That man is an ASS.

I do think it is possible that God is punishing the Bible Belt because so many Republican Christians live there. Why could it not be true? Their own leaders are quick to blame disaster on different groups of people.
