There is a disturbing pattern
In his disregard for tragic events. It started with 9-11 when he had on his desk, the memo, Bin-Laden determined to strike in the US.He did'nt think the tsunami in Asia was tragic enough to interfere with his busy schedule. Now when the hurricane hits in New Orleans he goes to play golf and try and compare Iraq with World War 2 .These are'nt just scandals, they impeachable offenses.

3. Dereliction of Duty
is grounds for immediate removal from office. Nice guy, he wants to turn this into a major crisis.

4. He isn't breaking any laws, so they aren't impeachable offenses.
However, I think his behavior is borderline sociopathic, to anybody who really pays attention. Maybe more than borderline.

13. It's too late for New Orleans already.........
if he'd canceled his golf game and party today maybe, just maybe there would be more getting done. But he has to live a balanced life, you know?

9. He's pound scum
I'm getting angrier every hour as I see NO become a watery grave...

Never have I seen someone do less in a time of crisis.

Oooo he stands on the rubble of the Twin Towers with a big bullhorn...Oooo. Big man! :eyes:

And now he was caught today celebrating a Senator's birthday while NO is swamped and people are dying.

FUCK YOU W YOU FUCKIN GHOUL

10. Sounds like he's incapable or not trusted to make decisions on his
own. He has to wait for the okay from Rove, Cheney and their focus group think tanks before they can tell him what to say. He's too scared to make these decisions on his own-and his handlers know it.

15. He's a small, selfish man who
has absolutely no idea how to handle anything. He has no sympathy or empathy with anyone. And if they don't write it out for him, he has no ability to think on his feet. No intellectual curiosity, his only idea is to leave everything in the Lord's hands, because that absolves him of blame and responsibility. I hope someone in this administration has some idea what to do, because this is an unimaginable situation and he's past the point of the "flying by the seat of his pants" remedies. He's not equipped for it. The best thing would be to remove him from office for gross incompetence at this point, but since that seems unlikely, one can only hope that someone in the administration actually has a workable plan. I weep for the victims of this disaster.

21. when the hurricanes raked Florida last year...
didn't the Resident go down to support Jebbie and help people load water and ice into their cars?

Maybe he still will do that--maybe he's waiting for the cost-benefit analysis on exactly how much they'll have to throw down there to keep their Repug backers.
