Why can BBC have good quality live feed from NO but CNN can't?
BBC News just showed a live feed from its correspondent on the ground in New Orleans. He said he was probably on the last piece of dry land in the city. It was excellent quality...until they lost the connection.

But all the CNN reports are by videophone. I'm sure there's a reason. Anyone know?

5. For the same reason we have to rely on the overseas press
to report what is going on in Iraq. The US MSM is worthless.

6. BBC is a news agency, CNN is...uh...well it has "News" in the name...
That's about as close to real journalism they get.

7. Maybe they don't want the public to know how bad it is.
It might make their tin god look bad.

8. Because U.S. news is heavily CENSORED
The networks are owned by corporations who have a vested interest in keeping American citizens ignorant and placid.

Remember what a huge crime it was for slaves in the U.S. to be caught learning to read? Same reasoning. Worked then, works now....

10. I think CNN's
doing a pretty exceptional job. They've stayed on the story, with lots of live reports.

I saw MSNBC last night do a Natalie Halloway story, and Fox doing its usual laugh & gab this morning.

CNN is actually covering this very well, imo.
