granted that's not the cheapest place in town, but the same BP had gas for $2.69 yesterday. 60 cents overnight!?!?! It's getting surreal, guys

Rt. 495 and 20.

Of course it was an Exxon. It was for premium but still seeing was freaky.

here in Madison, Wisconsin it went from $2.66 to $2.90 at noon today. Yup, drove past a gas station on the way to lunch and it was $2.66. On the way back they had already raised it. I just shook my head and gave out a "holy shit".

that was for regular unleaded. Premium was up over $3.00. I dunno, there's something shocking about seeing that "3" up there that just really let's it all sink in.

7. The only silver lining
is that maybe this will get people to consider hybrids instead of SUVS. And it will make alternative energy prices more competitive with oil.
