So This Is What America Is Like With No Leadership Whatsoever... |
|
Every decision or action Junior and his cabal make is purely out of their own self interest and profit for themselves and their cronies.
Apparently they don't even give a shit enough to bother looking likek they CARE about devastation and loss of life.
Be it Mrs. Sheehan or New Orleans.
Like Clinton or not, he'd step up and let us know SOMEBODY was in charge. And you knew his decisions were at least partially made considering the Common Good.

I hope no one takes this the wrong way but New Orleans ruining Bush's crispiness just made me laugh. That is why I love to come here and catch up on my news because you people make me laugh, especially when I really need it. I have been lurking for about 3 years now and have never replied before. After hearing that poor man talk about his wife losing her grip from his hand today, and telling him to take care of the children and grandchildren as she floated off, it was nice to laugh for at least a second. Thanks.

Thank you Charlie! You will be hearing from me because I have had it with this dimwit. I can lurk no longer, I must reply or I will explode. I have never been more disgusted with a pResident in my life. I thought Ronnie and Bushie1 were bad! I can stay silent no longer. Screaming at the television isn't doing it for me anymore. Actually I get up and leave the room whenever his ugly mug comes on my screen. It is so nice to be around people who feel the same way I do. Thanks again!

or looking for more fund-raisers to attend with the have-mores. Has any president in history failed to comment on a disaster of this scale for such a long time? Even King Ronald the Simple was on TV the night of the Challenger disaster and that only killed seven or eight people. Perhaps the Chimp is so incapable of even faking empathy that his handlers are afraid he'd break down laughing while talking about the hurricane.

Where is everybody else, like the rest of the world. Are we on our own with this mess? Seems to be the unfortunate case at the moment.
I'd say that we the people do own America as no one is around to help. I just called my senator's office and suggested that they bring our troops home right now because there is a national emergency here in the USA and that we need immediate help.
Bring our troops home now for America!
This is one possible good aspect this could come to be if it is handled properly I suggest. If not, it nothing but one big :tinfoilhat: ...
Ideas anyone else I ask?

Why the hell would the rest of the world respond to this after the way the * Admin. has treated them, their opinions, their ideas, their concerns, their problems? * has acted like no one's problems matter except the USA's.
Global warming, anyone?
I think the rest of the world is thinking: "You want to act unilaterally? You got it... rescue yourself."
Frankly, the way our country's government has disregarded the rest of the world, I wouldn't blame any country for not coming to our aid now.
That sounds very "unpatriotic", I know but I'm sure a lot people in a lot of countries are thinking to themselves that we deserve this. I don't blame them in the least.
Some will start spouting dollar figures that we give other countries in aid and to them, I say ... our aid money always seems to come with political strings attached. It's now payback time.

31. President Hugo Chavez just offered Venezuela's help |
|
Jesse Jackson was there today and was praying about the hurricane victims in Louisiana and President Chavez offered Venezuela's help. So maybe not everyone sees Americans as you do.
American people are human beings and many if not most do not approve of what is going on here but we find ourselves to be rather powerless. Luckily, persons of esteem such as President Chavez are not blinded by hate as many are.

"So maybe not everyone sees Americans as you do."
Uh, I *AM* American.
Chavez has been offering cheap gas to poor Americans for a couple weeks now, hasn't he? Strange that he's the only one to offer at this time, too... the only one who's had a public figure (like Pat Robertson or not, he's a public figure) endorse assassination against him.
Politically motivated? Who knows... only Chavez really knows his true motivation behind the offers. (Perhaps to get average Americans to see that he's not "evil" as portrayed by * and the MSM) - which would still be a political motivation, not a humanitarian one.
And you mentioned Jesse Jackson being there and praying. The last I was aware he was American, not a foreigner. I'm talking about foreigners' changed attitudes towards our country because of Bush's arrogance. Jackson is a fellow American.

is not my arrogance. I am not resposible for it but maybe you consider yourself to be.
I contend that no one deserves this, no one, no where, no time ever.
You don't happen to live in Biloxi or New Orleans obviously. To those that do, this is a horrific tragedy. It is sad to know there are those like you who have no sympathy for their fellow man based on the acts of some politicians.

Yet more of your assumptions....
I have a friend just outside Gulfport who hasn't been heard from since this hit. Don't tell me this hasn't hit me personally.
I blame Bush's arrogance for lack of offers of help from other countries.
Am I blaming you personally ... am I blaming myself? No...
But HE IS THE ONE WHO HAS CAUSED THE CHANGE IN ATTITUDE IN OTHER COUNTRIES.
What's so friggin hard about my point for you to understand?
Jesus Christ. I give up....
G'night people.

When I say I don't blame them for hating us .... I'm saying that BUSH'S ACTIONS have more than earned their hatred.
Evidently, I'm not expressing my thought clearly enough because what you're spitting back at me is not what I'm trying to say, so I give up.
I need to stay completely away from political forums. I thought one with all democrats would be different, but I guess not. I always end up getting pissed off.
