Re: Bush - FOLKS, it takes TIME to craft a photo-op
Believe me, KKKArl is HARD at work crafting the perfect photo-op for a few days from now.

Sad thing is the media will EAT UP the photo-op showing how "caring" Bush is.

Photos of:

Bush hugging people from Superdome
Bush handing out a bag of diapers to a family
Bush looking at stuff from his helicopter

Newspapers will be filled with these images by next Tuesday.

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED

..he will even get of his ass and go down there? I know he did in Florida...but then...brother Jeb is Governor. He got no important relatives in Louisiana.

8. or the hugging the girl who lost her mother in 9/11 photo op
It was staged -- just like the fake turkey he posed with at T-day in Iraq.

3. You know this makes me wonder why people keep saying that it is
unconscionable that Bush is not is NO right now...

As if somehow, he wasn't who he is...As if somehow he had ever shown interest in helping common folk...As if somehow we still expected some decency from him...Why? Haven't we learned by now?

You can bet that when he goes there everything, rescue efforts, levee building is going to come to a halt so he and Karl can get their photo Op (there will be some black folk in the photo too, you can be sure)

I hope he doesn't go. Who needs him???

9. I don't think he should be in NO....
But he should be in Washington, at his desk, speaking to FEMA and directing the relief effort to make sure that NOTHING falls between the cracks.

Oh wait, was just thinking about President Clinton for a moment.

That Bush will stand on the Superdome with a bullhorn. I thought that image was hilarious but not so farfetched.

standing in a boat ala General Washington. Wait and see. Perhaps with a bullhorn or maybe he will dress up like Cap'n Crunch?

You are probably right but it seems the only chord he knows is one that allows him to give us the finger again (and he thinks he is so cleverly disguising it).

Pickin' and a grinnin'.

11. Kinda makes you wonder
...why he didn't have the papparazzi there the day he "consoled" Cindy Sheehan and 16 other families by announcing, "Who are we honoring today?"

They're trying to tailor the right costume for him as we speak. Unfortunately, it's not going all that well, because * is insisting that he wants to dress as Aquaman.

21. Too friggin late!
They should have done that before the cake eating photo and the guitar playing photo both of which made him like the callous asshat we all know him to be, while people were trying to save their own lives. Those pics are burned in people's minds now. He proved he didn't care enough to talk with a mother of a fallen soldier and now for the past two days, he proved that he couldn't care less about whole cities and towns of people who lives are in ruin. People won't forget these actions, for political gain and the leisurely golf games, while cities and towns were flattened. They blew it BIG TIME!

22. Regretfully disagree
99% of the country will NEVER see that guitar photo or the cake photo.

But plenty of people will see the Idiot Son "hard at work" tomorrow and in LA and MS by the weekend.

Sad but true. All we can do is send the photos around as far as possible.

23. Yes I forgot, the Corporate owned media won't show the whole of
America what a shallow callous man bush is, right out in the open, if they did, he never would have been 'elected' even once. You're right sadly.

24. Corporate Media ACTUALLY is running this headline:
"Bush cancels vacation to focus on relief"
http://www.miami.com/mld/miamiherald/news/12514486.htm

Um...cutting ONE day from a 5 WEEK vacation is "cancels?"
