With shurb's corporate ties here what he can do to help
1. Ask the cruise ship industry to donate rescue boats to save survivors

2. Clear the airport of flooded water if needed and ask the airline industry to fly survivors to refugee camps all over the country.

3. Ask the military to aid in the evacuation.

This would be too easy...and I don't think the people of New Orleans voted for shrub it's one of those areas that was blue.
He is so vindictive that probably plays a factor in what he does.

1. How about a personal donation to the Red Cross?
Imagine him writing a personal check for $100,000 for disaster relief. I'm sure he can spare it, maybe Daddy Bush could even match it.

Maybe each Senate/House multi-millionaire could do the same?

3. Remember, BushCo thrive upon human suffering.
I love the irony in this thread, well said! They don't have a clue on how to actually _help_ suffering people (to suffer less, that is) and it shows, it shows.

It's a good talking point, and contrasts directly with the lack of care about the suffering in Iraq, Africa, etc.

Oil, baby!

4. Don't be silly. If he prays, that should be all that's expected of him.
