Cavuto is whining about the dearth of "good wishes" from other countries.
He states that he is unaware of any calls offering assistance or even condolences. I sent him the following:

Has it even occurred to you that anyone wishing to offer condolences or assistance to inhabitants of our Gulf Coast would have no reason whatsoever to contact YOU? Damn, Cavuto, you are exhibiting all the symptoms of an incipient case of "O'Reilly Disease" (you know, a completely baseless belief that you actually matter).
P.S. I eagerly await a hard-hitting FauxNews expose of the Bush administration's proposal to cut funds for emergency disaster relief, particularly as it applies to hurricanes.
Sincerely,

4. Did he take his head outta his ass long enough to hear Chavez?
Russia and France also offer help. Much of the world suffers due to policies from the alleged leaders of this one. We are damned lucky they are not laughing, pointing, talking about karma and saying 'neener neener neener' to us

6. It took El Shrubbo about 4 days to even mention the Indonesia tsunami.
And then he offered them a little pocket change, and was later shamed into pledging more -- but only after much smaller, poorer countries coughed up far greater amounts. After Bush has been happily shitting in the whole world's cornflakes for the past five years, why shoud we expect them to do us any favors now?

8. Canada, France, Venezuela and Russia
have all offered help.

As they always do...but the US also usually turns it down.
