All of those poor people without insurance -- they have lost EVERYTHING, while the store owners are typically 100% insured.
As for perishibles and drinks, I have absolutely zero problem with that being taken under these circumstances.

it's a matter of life or death--if the stores could open people would purchase what they need and it would be business as usual.
obviously it is not business as usual.
i have my own business and if i owned a store in a location that would be of assistance in a situation such as this i would have no problem with people going in and taking anything they might need or could use to help them survive this catastrophe.
