We are still behind. It is hard to believe some people really think brush should be out campaigning while millions of Americans are in very serious trouble. I guess these people who want brush to campaign instead of focusing on the devastation know that everything brush touches turns to crap.

8. People are clueless........... |
|
I walked down to the corner store for a newspaper this morning. The clerk looked at the front page, the total submersion of New Orleans. "Wow, where's that"? :eyes: I told her about it and her reply, "yeah, I heard something about a hurricane down there".
People are so caught up in their little daily ruts they have no idea what's going on in the world, even in our own country. This is the reason Republicans win elections. People in this country don't have a clue what is going on. :grr:

10. guess the folks thinking he should stump believe he needs to "go on |
|
with his life" you know his beautiful mind (like babs) and all that... Not like he is the leader of the Nation - and thus of the areas and peoples' currently suffering, or anything... oh wait...

18. 51/49 no/yes. That's scarily close |
|
49% respondents really think he's better campaigning?
Maybe they're afraid of what kind of mess he'd make helping?

21. Obviously freeped by one sick fuck with a scripting program. |
|
No one in their right mind would think it's preferable for him to IGNORE a disaster of this magnitude. That would be like saying it was better for him to sit there looking like a glassy-eyed fool reading "My Pet Goat" while the WTC crumbled.
It wasn't ok then, it's not ok now.
