3. Pretty much........
parts of uptown are actually above sea-level so the flooding won't be as bad as other spots. My daughter lives on Broadway St. near the Tulane University Campus. They've had relatively no flooding, until now. I guess every tree is down there. She said she figures the water will rise to about 7-8 feet in her area in the worst case. Not good, but not as bad as most.

2. Where is the pResident?
This is really critical now that emergency supplies be delivered! Airlift them in - anything to save these people who are dehydrating and starving to death. Where is the Federal Government? Where is the National Guard?

Unfortunately, we know the answers.

4. Whoever's they're talking to now (balding older guy in green shirt)
Is pissed-off in a very resigned way. I think he's involved in Meterie (sp?) city government (Emergency Management).

Saying that he and other city government members/planners warned over and over and over again that this was a very real possibility. Got nothing but agreement from higher authorities.

And now the wolf finally came, and they don't even have water. He heard at 2:00 in the morning that water trucks were in Baton Rouge.
