About McCain and Shrub eating cake in Arizona during the hurricane
Has anyone thought of this, Charlie Rangell says Cheney is very sick,..don't ask me for link I had seen it here.

Are they setting McCain up to be vice president? :shrug: ...just the thought of it makes me :puke:

2. No. If Cheney bites it,
there's an order of sucsession. I can't remember exactly, but I think it's either the Attorney General or the Speaker of the House who's next in line.

5. That's not what happens
The order of succession only comes into play if both Bush and Cheney are dead. Bush can apoint anyone he wants, and have them (he hopes) approved by the Senate.

I seriously doubt that Bush would choose McCain as VP. They play nice together for the cameras. But have no doubt that those two men loathe each other.

Bush needs a man he can count on to do his work for him. John McCain is NOT that man.

3. Well, if, FSM forbid, Cheney checks out ...
...the person they pick for VP will have a huge leg up for the nomination in '08. That would put a lot of power in the admin's hands to effect that election. Honestly, McCain would be one of the leasts of many evils.

Hopefully they'll get trounced anyway!
