Bush Blames Carter, Reagan, Clinton for 9/11 - however...
As his poll numbers sink, Bush is getting desperate.

(Conveniently, Bush doesn’t mention any terrorist attack that occurred during his father’s administration.)

2. Of COURSE Carter is responsible ...

If Carter hadn't set this country on the path of marginal energy conversation, we would have had $4/gallon gas a LONG time ago.

Carter made the Arabs realize that they couldn't hold the US ransom in this way. America would adapt. They are like drug dealers, they have to keep their clients hooked if they want a steady supply of cash.

The fact of the matter is that low gas prices prevent the emergence of any alternative fuels. The initial investment costs are just to high to fight the existing petroleum infrastructure.

The Bushies are trying to accelerate into peak oil and make sure that THEY are the ones holding the oil when the crisis happens. Than they can do whatever they want.

Edited on Wed Aug-31-05 02:52 PM by Javaman
He had done plenty to piss off all of Central America and a good portion of South America.

Or while we are at it, let's blame the Founding Fathers, they started this whole thing, yeah, it's their fault!!!

What a jerkoff and embarrassment he* is. The dry drunk* can't take responsibility for the bad things only the good things. "I only bring joy and happiness into peoples live, why aren't you loving me!!!!"

Hey chimpy monkeypants*, fuck you! How's that? Huh? Can't remember a regret or mistake???? How about cutting funds for hurricane emergencies to LA???? Remember that asshole*????

colossal failure*.

4. Reagan and Daddy Bush are to blame
They were the brilliant ones who decided to:

Sell weapons to the Iranians, who were bombing or sponsoring the bombing of our troops in Beiruit, not to mention that they had held our diplomats hostage for over a year. That doesn't even include the drug deals with the contras, or the other seedy parts of the Iran/Contra scandal.

They also decided to speed up the demise of the USSR by almost bankrupting this country to restart the arms race. At the same time, China had protected trade status. The way we fought the cold war in the 80s has led to the terror problem we face now, as we trained and armed the future terrorists to be "freedom fighters" against communism.
