the Superdome? Trucks are driving by them so it must be possible to get food and water and medicine to them. FOX seems to be the only network covering these people.

on the rooftops, and the apartment building?? They take lots of footage of them--can't they do SOMETHING until those folks can be rescued?
I don't know anything about helicopters. Maybe the news copters can't open the door in flight? Drop a basket of water bottles or a bag of supplies from a rope?
And line the dry streets with some porta-potties.
GOD HELP THESE PEOPLE!!
