my mom, who is not very political, nor pays attention to bush asked:

'why is he talking about gas now'

to which I replied:

'he needed some way to spin why the prices are skyrocketing'

2. He got really forceful then too. He was like, "the citizens have to unders

tand"....something about oil being unable to be made, or something.

The most passionate he was the entire speech.

"The citizens"? Wasn't he talking *to* the citizens?
