I now know beyond a doubt that the good people of America who were devastated by this natural disaster are screwed.

There was no empathy in his voice nor words.

He knew no more about what has taken place than you or I.

He has no real plans on the board to save these people.

He's cut funding to the organizations that would be able to render aid. Sent a large block of our National Guard off to fight his oil war.

If any other disaster were to strike the US at this point we will be at the mercy of the kindness of other nations. We are currently running beyond our means attempting to deal with this one.

I'm concerned not just for those devastated by this storm but for all Americans. Our once great Nation is now reduced to an inadequate shadow of its former self.

Even if you are not directly touched by Katrina you should know that if something were to occur in your area and you were to be left stricken and homeless, this is all you too can expect from your government.

Only governors of other U.S. states.

We are reaping what we have sown overseas. Can you imagine something like this happening in another nation and NO ONE offering help? We are truly screwed.

My heart of hearts tells me that bush is insane. Our entire country took a devestating hit that we are not prepared for. We could have dealt with it were it not for this obscene war he forced us into.

If bush holds true to form, in the next six months expect to hear more words like 'impeachment' and calling for his resignation.

The breakdown of our society is now beginning. I believe it after what I've witnessed on TV and when I was out driving.
