Couldn't Bush read through his speech once to not trip over half the words
I mean, someone went through the half hour of whipping up that speech for him to read.

At least Bush could give the three minute pablum a once-through so he could read what was written in a robotic monotone instead of tripping over half the words in a robotic monotone.

Is he even trying to pretend he cares anymore?

1. One time wouldn't do it ....
there were a few words with more than one syllable.

3. It wouldn't matter. He can't speak well at all!
The only speaches he's ever given that sounded sort of OK were the State of the Union, and when he spoke to the Congress and the UN. But he spends weeks practicing those!

I didn't listen to him today because I just can't anymore! I get too aggrivated and it's just not worth it to hurt myself!

4. He isn't well - did anyone else notice that it looked weirder than usual?
No empathy, he had a weird tick in his face, kept clinching his jaw, I think he is seriously mentally imbalanced, why else are they keeping him on such a tight rope?

9. I heard it on radio but my mental image
was a man hunched over a piece of paper grasped in both hands, not making eye contact, and then turning on his heels the moment he finished.

10. Boy you got the right - he turned heel faster than I've ever seen -
God forbid if he had to answer a question. I bet Clinton would have taken questions.

8. That's a tell.
It comes when Bush is slinging bullshit. He's supressing anger at being put to the trouble of lying to us.
