Did that poor man ever find his wife. ("she's all I had.")
CNN reporter was crying too as she interviewed a man who made it to the roof with his wife but then couldn't hang on and watched her swept away. (She said 'take care of the kids and grandkids.') He kept saying 'She's all I had." and if you didn't tear up you are heartless.

Was there any chance she was rescued?
The reporter offered to try and help him.
I want to know how it came out...

1. That was truly heartbreaking
But I am afraid if she was too worn out to hold on, she was too worn out to swim to safety. I hope I am wrong, that was one of the saddest things i have ever seen.

2. His house split in two, too.
That was horrible.

And there are thousands of stories like that.

3. me too
I watched that a number of times. The only good thing I had heard was that offers of aid for that man poured in all over the world to CNN. I don't know if they ever found him again to help him.

10. I would doubt it unfortunately
They're saying there may be thousands dead - it's so chaotic and so many people were trapped, it's almost impossible to estimate. My heart just breaks - what a horrible, horrible tragedy.
