Where is everyone? He looked very warn out and desperate when he said that not one red cross vehicle has been to that area in 2 days. There are over 500+ on that overpass. He sees the help out there but no one is coming.

1. Is this Shepard Smith??
I hear he's really calling it like he sees it down there. Good for him ! When push comes to shove, some people step up....

8. Faux. But he found a lot of trapped people on an overpass.
No water, no food, children...hot sun... bad scene. No one availabale to help because they are so overworked, undermanned.

3. Yeah, ever since the guy realized what he was getting himself into...
..on the day of the hurricane hitting, he seems to have stopped caring about the usual rhetoric. Hopefully it continues.

6. I'm a liberal who watches Fox News
thought it is mostly for amusement and to keep tabs Sean "the Nazi" Hannity. However, Shepard Smith is often willing to play devil's advocate when it comes to issues of Rt. vs Lft. For me, it is hard to discern his political affiliation (as opposed to Cavuto or Hume)

4. Why isn't he asking where the National Guard is?
Why isn't he asking where his president is? Why isn't he asking where all those governmental agencies, who promised they were prepared for this, are? He seems to want to blame this on the Red Cross instead of the government who has failed so miserably.

14. I don't think he's blaming the Red Cross.
He just wants to know why these people don't have any water. If someone could go to the overpass with a bullhorn and tell them where to go, it would help.

16. The reason I specified the Red Cross was because the OP
states Red Cross and no other group. I fervently hope those poor victims get help very, very soon!

10. Is there some kind of video feed online for him?
I keep hearing about his broadcasts and I actually turned to FUX once or twice (shudder) but I keep missing it, I guess.

11. I think ole Shep is in the process of getting one hell of an
education. And perhaps even a political re-orientation. We'll see.

12. This post is not about Shepard Smith or FAUX news
jeez lighten up, I am trying to report the story that is going on on that overpass. Why does it matter who is reporting it?

13. Because Shep Smith is part of hundreds of reporters who walked
us off this plank.

They kissed Bush's oil slicked ass, and look what is happening.

Their syncophantism is what enabled NO disaster funding to be cut. It allowed the Iraq war to happen. It allowed the energy crisis we are now in (the governor of GA just declared an energy emergency, people are waiting for two hours for gas).

FUCK Shepard Smith. Those people are as good as dead at this point I think. :(
