1. Yes, reported on CNN by a reporter in NOLA.

2. Who was the reporter? Why can't I get a citation or a link?
I know there's not much being reported, but this should have sifted to the top of the pile, I would think.

4. Susan Rosgen who was a friend of Kira Phillips of CNN.

I believe Susan Rosgen, she was with the NBC outlet in NOLA. When I lived there she's who I watched. She had a Black man as co-lead anchor.

The story was the guy was playing dominoes and just stood up and told the folk below to get out of the way and then he jumped.

3. Yes he did
one of the victims was speaking about it and his body was covered in a corner near the ramp where people were walking by - the guy doing interviews (can't remember who) didn't even notice the poor dead man until the woman spoke about it, and he did speak about it after. How sad.

5. The Other Morning
Initially reported by WDSU...a man who had been brought to the Superdome either jumped or was pushed (I've heard conflicting reports over the past two days)...the initial reporter said it appeared he had committed suicide.

Just another tragedy among thousands...we're just hearing a few of the horrors.

The www.nola.com website has had the best reporting I've seen.

Cheers...

6. That's what they said on AAR this morning.
I was so overcome with grief for this poor man.

Bush had better think carefully about what he's doing to this country. If you take everything away from the people, they are left with nothing to lose. People with nothing to lose can be an unstoppable force. The Democratic Party shuld be thinking about this, too. The sea-change that will come in response to this, if nothing much is done, will be more powerful than the Storm that started it.
