It's over now. There was video of miles of road with only homeless black people walking, staggering carrying what little they had. Old people, children, men women. :cry: Buses going in or out of NO can be seen.

1. Many, if not most, of those people could not leave because

they couldn't afford the gas to get out of town. Many people in NO live paycheck to paycheck and didn't have $30 to get out of town; some went to the rent-to-own places that are all over the country asking for some money if they returned the furniture.

If we had a president who knew what the hell he was doing, he should have nationalized all the gas stations in the area under a hurricane warning. Then he should have seen to it that everyone who had a vehicle and could drive it GOT THE GAS THEY NEEDED.

This whole thing has been unbelievably fucked up from start to finish.

3. These folks had been rescued by boat and put on the highway

to either walk or wait for help. They're on their own.

Now they have video of police arresting a stolen ice cream truck with about 10 young black guys in it. Poor people. It's chaos.

This is the beginning of a dark chapter in American history. :scared:

Our refugees are not being shot at, but they have no jobs..no money..no food..no water..no belongings..nowhere to sleep or get in from the elements..

At least the dustbowl refugees had vehicles..
