Today at work, two people mentioned that they were going to drive less.

Today at work, two people mentioned that they were going to drive less.
One, a part-timer, said he was buying a bus pass to get from campus to work, when previously he would drive.

The other is the office manager. We had discussed getting software that would allow her to log-in from home to do accounting type work one or two days a week. But today she said she could not afford the commute everyday and really began to look into it seriously.

I guess $3+ per gallon is the magic number.

Meanwhile, I am *really* happy we live 10 minutes from work, I mostly work from home, and own non-guzzling vehicles.
