:( I think this will definitley be a testing point for the Bush administration. This could be the happening that wakes everybody up. After everything else that has happened this is it perhaps. It really is disgusting by the lack of leadership. *sigh*

Everyone thank Anderson Cooper for pointing out the Fed Govt isn't doing

their job and people are dieing because of it.

Takes about 30 seconds. If we don't respond with positive support, he will only see freepers complaining.

5. you have to listen or watch....
it is his tone more than his words. He is definitely disgusted. The response has been admirable by individual rescue personnel, but slow and definitely below expectations on the part of an organized effort by the Federal Govt.

7. Sorry. CNN's Anderson Cooper ...
... has been on the air for the last hour ... with various survivor stories ... seems to be at or past the tipping point of accepting gov't responses to the disaster response in Mississippi. He started to get a bit argumentative with an Army Corps of Engineers rep, was on the scene with SAR volunteers as they discovered bodies dead for two days, repeating his observations about the discovery two or three times.

He is seeing (I suppose) as close to what those who went through this hellish experience went through as is possible, and he seems to be bothered by a general delay in getting help to those he encounters.

Others on DU have suggested that he promotes the * admin line of too many issues, and I wonder whether he is passing the tipping point of accepting that they do and who they are.
