Who would Clark pick for VP? Who would Dean pick for VP? |
|
Edited on Thu Oct-02-03 11:18 PM by TakebackAmerica
I'vee listende to comments today and I now think thsa a Clark/Edwards ticket would be great.
Who would Dean pick? The possibilities I've heard are Clark, Graham, Edwards or Kucinich.
Any thoughts?

1. Just for personal reasons, |
|
Graham would be great for either one.......
I really like the guy, but as I said in another post, he's a trusty workhorse, not a flashy thoroughbred.

I think that may be unlikely...

As unlikely as Clinton and Gore?
I would say Clark/Kerry, Clark/Edwards, Clark/Richardson, Clark/Graham.
Dean/Clark, Dean/Graham, Dean/Edwards, Dean/Richardson.

Clark would serve as Dean's VP. His ego is too big too serve as another short man's VP.

Dean would want someone with Washington legislative experience. I think Dean also has a flair for making the statement and taking the risk. Therefore, my guesses would be...
Di Fei Bill Richardson Gephardt (if he thinks he might be vulnerable to social security or medicare attacks) John Breaux Hillary (how's that for bold?)

My order would be:
Richards Breaux Hillary Gephardt
Di is 6 FT tall. Clark is not that big. About 5'9. I think she would make him look like Kucinich in size. Not a good thing for the image of the General.

Kucinich will be making any selection. Face it, it's down to Dean, Clark, and Kerry or maybe Edwards, Gephardt, Lieberman (as long shots). I know that will make unhappy some of the supporters of the guys (and gal) that have no chance, but it's time to face reality.

19. You know how early it is in the primary |
|
Oh I should give up, I know you arent trying to be a jerk but in a way you are being unnerving. Why? because its October 2003, it aint over till its over. Sorry for my bitterism but if theres one thing that will bring out my anger here, its that. The only reason he doesnt have a chance supposely is because of people's superficalism I honestly think. I think people need to realize it aint over til its over, and we wont give up.

9. Nobody would pick Mr., "I'm the ONLY canididate... |
|
who talks about race in front of white audiences (lie), Dean."
Dean has proven to be untrustworthy and willing to make any hyperbolic claim to get votes. Deanies should be embarrassed because of this. But sadly they are not.

I hope it ends up Dean/Clark, but Clark/Dean would be acceptable.
Hell, that thing in the Tupperware that's been in the back of my fridge for a year would get my vote if the Dems ran it.

18. Dean/Clark, Clark/Dean, both are okay with me |
|
But I don't think either one of them is in this to play second-banana. That being said, put Kucinich (D), Gephardt (D), Kerry (D), Graham (D), Edwards (D), Sharpton (D), Mosely-Braun (D), Lieberman (D), Howdy Doody (D), Gumby (D), or Beelzebub (D) on the ballot against Boosh (R), and I'll vote for the (D). Priority One is "2004 -- Bush No More"!
