1. The 30,000 Number Is Quite Inflated
It includes most of the people who have been banned as disruptors, as well as long-inactive accounts.

4. well, you don't really think that there are 30K 'active' users, do you?
A lot of people sign up and have done so over the last couple of years (how long has the board been around?)

They don't necessarily stay and check the board everyday.

And many get tombstombed (though can't say if the registration number goes down with that)

And, well.....you surely don't think that even 1/2 that (15,000) come to this board daily or weekly or even monthly, do you?

Seems that close to 1000 people voting is going to catch the majority of the the poor souls who have to endure the GD in the present time.

I think you should give up; this is a healthy turnout. seems to me.

6. so less than 1,000
people is a healthy turn out?????? If that is true this vote is even more dumb. It's the whinners and the people causing those to whine ie anyone who questions "their candidate". I think encouraging people to vote is a good thing???? Come on that's one of our prime directives...Tell me it can't be that only 1,000 of us are on here a day. I don't have alot of posts but I've been registered 2 years about. Hey a little less. Many names I don't know well. I look on here every single day in this time there's got to be more than a 1,000 posters on average. Was a time I knew alot of the names. just my input.

8. I tried campaigning for this cause the other day, and I was locked as well
It looks like it is less than two hours before I leave this place. I wonder if the Admin could take me off their membership count? I don't want to contribute to a ship of fools.
