Question - why hasn't someone in one of Pigboy's detox visits |
|
Edited on Fri Oct-03-03 08:46 AM by elfin
ratted him out for $$??
I do not know the protocol for these institutions - what are the penlaties for breaking confidentiality of a fellow patient?
And why did he go to New York? Where does he broadcast from?
I am not a listener - was he absent from the airwaves for any period of time? Or did they let him broadcast from there?

One of the first and most effective treatment centers has a good record of keeping the names of rich and famous peoplequite who came through it's doors.
I knew several workers there and they were held to a high level of belief in the Hazelden System and held the confidentiality in highest regards for their clients and in doing, and keeping, their jobs. That was in the mid-90's and I doubt has changed much. The only way I knew who was at the center was when people saw the clients in transit.

4. Has he ever been off the air for four weeks? |
|
It would seem simple to prove/disprove some of these allegations.
If he's been in detox twice in the last few years... doesn't that take several weeks? At least two? Is there a "three day weekend" version of detox?
Has he ever been away from the mike for an extended period of time. I doubt he faked cochlear surgery to hide a detox visit.

use a variety of group therapy techniques. These typically generate a feeling of camaraderie as well as have a strong privacy component. "What is said in the group, stays in the group" I think this is entirely appropriate. Additionally it is very likely as someone posted earlier that Rush was given very high levels of privacy assurances.
