Anybody watching Arlen Spector on c-span? |
|
It's an hour-long interview with Brian Lamb on c-span's Q&A, recorded last week. He's talking about having cancer, the up-coming judicial hearigs (he's the chairman of the judicial committee), his trip to Cuba where he met w/Castro (for the 3rd time) and asked him if he had anything to do with killing JFK, Guantanamo, legislation he wants to introduce, issues related to the Supreme Court, etc.
I know, I know... he's a nasty repub... but under the guise of "know thy enemy" it's an interesting hour and a welcome break from the NOLO disaster.

1. Spector isn't too horrid |
|
he's my senator, even though I did not vote for him in 2004. I don't get up in arms over him. Since he came down with cancer, i think it has had a profound effect upon him. I wrote to him over the nuclear options and judicial hearings, and he wrote back. Not a form letter but addressed a specific concern. It did take him 2 months to do it, but he did it.
Now Santorum can go take a flying leap, I've got loads piss offs for that man.

2. Let me get this straight |
|
The man who worked for the Warren Commission and made up the magic bullet theory, asked Castro if he had anything to do with killing JFK? Like Spector doesn't already know the answer to that question?
